Having problems with MyComputer guest book or counter?

Question:
I can't add a MyComputer guest book or counter through the Web Gem Gallery to new web sites. I go through the steps, but the services never show up on my web pages. How can I add them? Also, previously added MyComputer counters and guest books no longer work correctly. What's happening?
 
Solution:
We are aware of these issues with the MyComputer guest book and counter services and apologize for the permanent loss of these services. The reason for these problems is that MyComputer switched their services from a free to a paid model. In response to their decision, we've partnered with Bravenet as a provider for these types of Web Gems in the next version of SiteBuilder.

Until that time, you can add these services free through a Build Your Own Web Gem. You'll need to register first as a member of Bravenet. They have a large collection of free services for web sites, including a guest book and counter. Bravenet will give you a code for these services that you can add to a Build Your Own Web Gem.
